One with what I face is poverty. Of course I don't surprised you at all)))
But I even couldn't imagine how difficult it will be for me to get used it, no, it is not possible to get used to it.

For me it is so difficult to say "NO" someone, especially to children... a lot of people see that we are tourist, foreigners and they think that we are very rich, ask for money and help. First time I couldn't say "no" and gave money or buy some food, but I understand that I can't help everyone, it is impossible unfortunately. and the strange thing the more you give people the more they want from you... may because of we are stranger here, they have hope that we will help them..

Other thing that rich and poor people are so close to each other... some people sleep under the bridge, on the street and some people are so rich. and no one is blame... it is just so and you can't change it... or you can but how??!!

that is why Kolkata is so different from place to place and often it is so strange for me to see rich hotel on the street where there are so many poor people, dirty and so on... so it takes time to cope with it, hope you understand what do I mean...

My place of work - Hotel Chrome

Dear friends!

Now I want to tell you about the place where I work))
My relatives are waiting for news from me was it worth coming in Kolkata because of opportunity to work in this hotel or not... so my answer is "YES", it is worth doing it))
It is very cool hotel, I like it))) It attracted me from the first time I saw in the picture)))
and now I can confirm that it is like on the photos and pictures from the travel web sites)) and of course looks even better))) Also I was please that I will have opportunity to work in sales and marketing department. I wanted it so much for such long time. It is interesting experience.

The name of the hotel is Chrome. It is 5 star boutique hotel, interior one, has award for the best Hotel Interior.))) Mainly it is for business meeting, business trips, it is very comfortable and very stylish, there are all necessary. Recently it joined the best collection of luxury hotels - "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". So, like you see I like it so much))) I am happy and proud that now I am part of hotel team.

I have to say that all people in the hotel are extremely friendly, nice, pay much attention to me and my friend Janka, who came here also for her internship.

Today is my 3rd working day. In sales and marketing department work mainly girls, I know 3 of them - Sera, Amrita and Bashwatie, all of them are so young, so nice, so beautiful))) For example Amrita is 26 and Bashwatie is 24. And a lot of people who work here are young, it is the policy of the hotel, that I like so much.

I don't do a lot now, just read some report of the hotel, read some web site about competitive and after I hope I will work like other girls meeting with different clients, making new contacts and good name for the hotel, cause it is really import now, it is very new.

My colleague from work, Amrita, was so kind to me and told me some traditions of Indian wedding and showed her photos, after what I asked her to give me some of them cause she was so beautiful on them.

Rains...

Hey)))

yesterday it was raining heavily again... oh, God... it was water everywhere(( haha, have some photos))) I was told that starting from the end of July and ending middle of September there will be rain season... but I got feeling that it already began))

it was almost impossible to go somewhere)) so many water around, all people was in a hurry to go home, nobody didn't want to give us go.. yap, interesting experience))

but funny thing is that today morning it is dry everywhere again))) amazing))) so soon))) but it is great!)))

We just came to New market. It was raining heavily))

5th day))

Yesterday evening we visited New market of Kolkata.))
We gathered with friends, they work near and went there.
It was not far from our job. We took a taxi. I was raining so heavily))

First time I experienced tropical rain) It was nice, we got wet so quickly, amazing.
We came there and there were so many shops, so many beautiful colors and clothes) it was really interesting.

The most interesting thing was that the sales people was so funny, all the time they showed us something, called exactly to their place, told us that they have the best things, saris, prices, that for us they would make discounts and so on))) haha it was funny to observe their fight for us)) they were so funny, speak so quickly, wanted to sell you everything they have. Some of they accompany us all the time))) it was worth visiting it))) I liked it))

Of course they saw that we are tourist and wanted to sell us everything much more expensive then it was.))) And we tried to set the price))) It was funny))
For example they told us that saris cost starting from 4500 Rs. and ending 9000 Rs.))) But of course those ones they didn't cost these money.

I was so interested how much normally cost one sari and I came to one lady and asked her. It was the right moment, cause she was buying one beautiful sari with amazing ornaments. She told me that it is possible to buy it for 800 Rs.))) haha yeap, they want to make money, I can understand them))) they are professionals in it.

and as I understood they met a lot of Russian tourists and probably some of them bought saris and other thing for this price, so they were pleased to hear that we are from Russian and that they can sell us everything))) yap, Russian people are crazy about shopping))) they can pay so many and can buy everything))) and if they have such service that of course they will buy)))

But I decided not to buy anything))) cause I didn't much money with me and I decided just to look how such markets looks like))) I like it))) there are a lot of attractive things and accessories.))) yap, it was difficult not to buy something)))
