Last news)

Do you remember I wrote that I don't have any acclimatisation, so unfortunately I have it now))) Today is the third day of it... it is awful, I feel sleepy all the time...
That is why I didn't enjoy my the only one day off that I have on Sunday.
So yesterday was Sunday, we had some really cool plan for the day.

I can even show you it))) cause I and Chinese guy Bruis wrote it before going somewhere))) and Igor laughed all the time when we planned everything)))

so this is our plan:

8.00 - 10.00 - Northern park of Kolkata & ancient Temple
10.00 - 14.00 - Indian museum
12.00 - lunch
14.00 - 17.00 - Eden park
17.00 - 18.00 - The bank of the river, to see the sunset
18.00 - 20.00 - go to the festival
20.00 - 21.00 - South City Mall

So we were going to get up at 07.30 and start our day trip)))

Now I tell you how it was))) haha

First, everbody slept till 8.00, and only I woke up everyone at 08.15)))
We went at 09.30.. With us were Taiwanese guys and Chinese guy Bruis))

Second we forgot that on Sundays subway starts working at 14.00. So it was too expensive to go by taxi to the Northern park of the city, cause we live in the Southern part of Kolkata))) that is why we went to the Indian Museum by taxi. Came there approximately at 10.30. We liked it, it is quite big and nice, nothing special, but it is worth visiting.

After we decided to have dinner at 14.00. We showed guys our favorite place in the Park Street)) We ate Indian food. And I promoted everyone Kolkata's sweets there and all of us tried something))) hehe

After we separated from guys, cause they wanted to visit Victoria memorial and we heve already been there, so we went to the park. As it was mentioned in our plan, I wanted to visit Eden park, that is very popular, but Igor showed me another park - Eliot and I was a little bit disappointed)) but not because of park, but because I expected to visit Eden park))) But still it was so nice there))) so quite and relaxing, so we have a rest there under umbrella cause it was raining at that time)))

At 17.15 we went to Victoria Memorial in order to meet guys and went to the bridge. There were so many people near the Victoria Memorial, especially on the field where everyone plays football and cricket))) One day I am going to come there and join someone to learn how to play cricket))) who knows may be I will like it so much)))

So after meeting guys we took a taxi and went to the bank of the river. I saw a lot of people there washing, swimming))) haha it was very funny looking))) I saw even how they drunk this water... yap))) A lot of boats)) we also have to try them one day)))

After we started asking everyone where will be Ratha Yatra, cause this festival always take place in different part of the city, no one knew about it))) and then we were told that there were no festival on Sunday and it is better to come next day. May be today we will be lucky and find the place where it will be)))
So there was nothing to do for us, we went to the South City Mall.

haha as you see sometimes it is difficult to follow the plan))) especially if you are in India))) haha so many unpredictable things can happen)))

Cool calm evening)))

Yesterday we decided to stay at home in stead of going somewhere.
All other interswent to the dinner to some restaurant and then to club.

So we had cool calm evening))) We cooked together))) Our Chinese friend Brus (actually it is his nickname) showed us how to cook some cool sous from new for me vegetables and leaves that I had never seen before))) So it was noodles with those cool sous)))

But it wasn't the Chinese dish... but anyway it was really cool and tasty)))

After we decided to have a dinner on the balcony... we liked it so much))
But we wasn't there for a long time cause there were so many mosquitoes and they ate us so fast, so it wasn't possible to stay there long... haha)))

We went to the room and started chatting about everything and it was cool and nice))) then I decided to show Brus so photos of Russia))) he liked then very much, than of course I was touched by it and I continued showing him more and more... and he was so nice and asked so many question))) haha poor guy))) hehe Now I understand than may be he could be so tired of it... but it is that I like in people like him)) they are so patient and polite))) so it was nice)))

I liked our evening so much)))

Sometimes it is better to stay at home and have calm evenings))

We prepared noodles with very unusual sous for me, from some vegetables and leaves that I ate for the first time. It was amazing)))

My dream comes true

My dream comes true)))

I am so happy that at last I work in the hotel, 5 star, very unique and in sales and marketing!!!
It is so cool!!! But not this is the main... The main are always people for me and I like people here so much... the way how thy behave, the way they treat to us... Of course sometimes I don't know what to expect and how to react on some things, but it is so interesting all the time, you can open new and new in this world)))

First days at my work I was so shy and didn't know how to behave, what to ask and what to do...
But it is ok for me during the first days... I always behave like that))) but in some places of work where I was before it could take months or ages that means that I didn't manage to get used to the company, wasn't involved enough... so here it is not like that))) and I am so happy)))

Of course usually I am very affected by the team and my head with whom I work)))
But here it seems to me that everything will be ok))) I have to get this experience, I want it so much!!!! I am looking forward for new and new information))

I and Janka who work with me, we like our head of sales and marketing department)))
She is so professional, I want learn a lot from her. And I like the way like she treats to her department, like to her children, so it makes as more that team, we began feeling like we are in a family!!! It great feeling))) And when I first met General Manager of the hotel his question was - "Do you feel like in family, comfortable?" It is so nice)) I like it.

It is nice that our head, Mrs. Moumita, pays attention to the details, tells us straight what she thinks about the way we look like, about our clothes, make up, even our body and face language and tells us how to make it better. It is very important to know if you gonna to have a lot of communications, negotiations with the clients and will be representatives of such hotel.

It is so great that we can affect and make something for this people, we can help this so to say newly born hotel to get better image and good name. On the one hand it makes the work more difficult, on the other hand more responsible, more interesting and creative!!! It should be very important experience!!!

Festival in Kolkata

Now one festival began in Kolkata, its name is Rathayatra, it is one of the popular one. Actually there are so many of them in India, all of the are religious, very bright and colorful, you can see a loot symbols and traditions in it)) The Rath Yatra festival falls on the late of June or early July. It is celebrated in the honour of Lord Jagannath an avatar of Vishnu. This year it began on 13th of July and will last till 21th of July, so it last for about one week.

So I will show a little information about this festival.

It is a huge Hindu festival associated with Lord Jagannath held at Puri in the state of Orissa,India during the months of June Most of the city's society is based around the worship of Jagannath (Krishna) with the ancient temple being the fulcrum of the area. The festival commemorates Lord Jagannath's annual visit to his aunt's home.

Though this festival is very special in India, the main Rath Yatra takes place in the holy town of Puri. At other places, those devotees of Lord Jagannath, who cannot make it to Puri, take out similar processions on a much smaller scale. Notable are the ones at Ramnagar (near Varanasi), and Jagannathpur (near Ranchi).

Rathayatra is celebrated to mark the beginning of harvest season. It is owing to this fact that it is considered a very auspicious time. This festivity is of prime importance in villages and towns

So are going to visit it during these days, I don't know when exactly, but I want so much)))
